Budget 2022 : When, Where and How?

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2022 tomorrow in the Parliament.

Like last year Budget 2022 will go paperless as last year the Finance Ministry had decided not to print the budget documents amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Union Budget will also be available to download on the Union Budget app after the completion of the Budget presentation process.

Date and Timings : 

Union Budget 2022 is scheduled to be presented in Parliament on February 1, 2022. Budget speech usually starts at 11:00 AM. FM will present the budget in the parliament.

Where to watch :

Union Budget 2022 will be live telecasted on national television channels such as Lok Sabha TV, Rajya Sabha TV.

FM had also launched the ‘Union Budget Mobile App’ for hassle-free access of Budget documents by MPs and the general public. The new mobile budget app called 'Union Budget' facilitates complete access to 14 Union Budget documents, including the Annual Financial Statement (commonly known as Budget), Demand for Grants (DG), Finance Bill etc. as prescribed by the Constitution.
